The Brevard County healthcare provider unveiled plans on Sept. 2 to increase the hospital’s capacity from 98 to 214 beds, adding new facilities and services to keep pace with the area’s rapid population growth.
Adjacent to the hospital is a 40,000-square-foot medical office building.
The property, located at 7301 and 7301A W. Palmetto Park Road, spans 101,546 square feet across two boutique medical office buildings.
Architect Manuel Synalovski, who presented the plans, told the Davie Town Council that the need is pressing—Broward County currently offers about 9,600 assisted living beds, yet nearly 360,000 residents, or 18% of its population, require this type of care.
The transaction closed at $650 per square foot—one of the highest prices seen in the Kendall office submarket.
