A medical office complex is planned to the west of Lake Worth Beach in Palm Beach County.

The County Zoning Commission is set to review the site plan submitted by the Cagigas Organization, led by Mariela Cruz of Riviera Beach, on April 3. The proposed development will be located on a 5.62-acre plot at 5761 S. Military Trail, just north of Lantana Road.

The proposed health care facility will cover 26,200 square feet and reach a height of up to 35 feet, with 132 parking spaces.

Although the site was approved for a medical office by a previous owner in 2006, no construction occurred. The Cagigas Organization, a for-profit entity, acquired the vacant land for $4.4 million in 2022 and began initial site preparations that same year.
