BioStem Technologies, Inc. (OTC: BSEM), a MedTech company specializing in placental-derived products for advanced wound care, has purchased a four-acre site in the Research Park at Florida Atlantic University® (FAU) in Boca Raton for its future headquarters.

Under an agreement with the City of Boca Raton, BioStem will be eligible for up to $300,000 in economic incentives tied to the creation of up to 100 new jobs over the next five years. The new facility will consolidate the company’s administrative offices, manufacturing, and distribution operations. A relocation timeline has not yet been announced.

CEO and Chairman Jason Matuszewski said the move supports BioStem’s long-term growth strategy: “The new location gives us room to expand, access to top talent and technology, and strong economic support. While other states made offers, we were committed to staying in South Florida and continuing to strengthen the region’s life science sector.”

Located adjacent to Florida Atlantic University, the Research Park is a hub for technology-driven companies and research-based organizations. It connects industry leaders with academic researchers, fostering innovation and regional economic growth. The 70-acre park, established in 1985, is home to Global Ventures, a program that helps international technology firms expand into the U.S.

Andrew S. Duffell, president of the Research Park, welcomed the addition of BioStem: “Their presence reinforces the Park’s role in driving innovation and economic prosperity in South Florida. Collaboration with university researchers and providing training opportunities for students are key to building a strong MedTech ecosystem.”
