AdventHealth has officially acquired Bond Clinic, a well-established physician group in Winter Haven, continuing its strategic expansion across Polk County.

Bond Clinic has served the Winter Haven community since 1948, evolving from a small local practice into a major multi-specialty medical group. Today, it includes more than 90 healthcare providers across nearly 30 specialties, such as cardiology, neurology, pediatrics, and orthopedics.

This acquisition further strengthens AdventHealth’s presence in the region, adding to its network of hospitals and outpatient services in cities like Lake Wales, Davenport, Sebring, Haines City, Lakeland, and Winter Haven.

“Bond Clinic and AdventHealth share a deep commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality care,” said Jennifer Snider, president and CEO of AdventHealth Medical Group West Florida Division. “We’re excited to welcome their talented team as we work together to serve the growing needs of Polk County residents.”

AdventHealth, headquartered in Central Florida, is one of the nation’s largest faith-based health systems, operating more than 50 hospitals and numerous outpatient centers across nine states. With Polk County experiencing rapid population growth, the organization is expanding its services to keep pace with demand.

Though financial terms were not disclosed, AdventHealth emphasized that the focus of the deal is on improving access to healthcare while preserving the community-first approach that has defined Bond Clinic’s 75-year legacy.

The integration of Bond Clinic’s providers and services will expand access to specialty care and coordinated treatment options for patients across the region.

The acquisition comes as other healthcare providers also grow their footprint in Polk County—Orlando Health, for example, is building a new hospital in Lakeland—signaling an increasingly competitive healthcare landscape in this fast-growing area.
