Moffitt Cancer Centre is teaming up with Mainsail Lodging & Development to bring a new 200-room hotel to its McKinley Campus, scheduled to open in summer 2028. The $84 million project is designed to meet a long-standing need for high-quality yet affordable accommodations just steps from one of the nation’s top cancer centers.

Each year, Moffitt welcomes patients from across the U.S. and more than 130 countries. The new hotel is expected to cover nearly half of the 68,000 room nights the center generates annually, easing demand on surrounding facilities and giving patients, caregivers, and visiting medical professionals a nearby place to stay.
