Miami Jewish Health is planning an independent living facility, FiftyTwoNorth, on its Buena Vista campus.

The development will include 192 residential units, with an 11-story tower of condo-style homes and two five-story townhouse buildings. The project aims to address the growing demand for senior housing in Miami-Dade County.

FiftyTwoNorth will operate as a life plan community, where residents pay an upfront fee for living and healthcare costs, plus a monthly maintenance fee. This model offers financial predictability for seniors. Miami Jewish Health is collaborating with Greystone Communities and THW Design on the project, which will feature amenities like wellness facilities, a pool, a gym, a movie room, and various dining options.

This development is part of a Special Area Plan approved in 2017, allowing for additional buildings on the 20-acre campus.
