Baptist Health has taken a major step toward bringing top-notch healthcare to Cutler Bay with the grand opening of its new facility on February 19.

The ribbon-cutting event, led by Nancy Batista-Rodriguez, CEO of Baptist Outpatient Services, drew a crowd that included Baptist Health executives, esteemed doctors, and local community leaders.

This new center is all about making quality healthcare more convenient for Cutler Bay residents. It offers a broad lineup of services tailored to the area’s needs, including Baptist Health Urgent Care—a 3,550-square-foot hub for treating minor ailments and injuries—and Baptist Health Diagnostic Imaging, equipped for CT scans and digital X-rays right on site. There’s also Baptist Health Primary Care, a nearly 4,000-square-foot space dedicated to everyday health checkups and prevention, plus Baptist Health Brain & Spine Care, where leading neurologists tackle brain and nerve-related conditions.

Batista-Rodriguez emphasized the mission behind the project: “We’re here to break down obstacles to healthcare and deliver exceptional medical services right where people live. Every South Dade resident should feel assured that their health is covered close to home.”

This opening is a big deal for Baptist Health as it keeps pushing to improve healthcare access across South Florida. The Cutler Bay location joins other nearby services, including Baptist Health Virtual Urgent Care on the PineApp, creating a solid network of options for the community. Situated at 20997 Old Cutler Road in the Shoppes of Cutler Bay, the facility welcomed its first patients on February 20.
