Baptist Health Breaks Ground On New Medical Center In Pembroke Pines
Baptist Health has initiated construction on a new medical center in Pembroke Pines, aiming to enhance access to comprehensive emergency and outpatient care in Broward County.
The facility, located at 1400 SW 145th Ave., is projected to open in early 2027.
Spanning 60,865 square feet across three stories, the center will integrate services from Baptist Health Emergency Care, Brain & Spine Care, Heart & Vascular Care, and Primary Care. Patients will have access to emergency services, nonsurgical spine care, neurology, clinical cardiology, echocardiograms, stress testing, and primary care, consolidating various healthcare needs in one location.
Nancy Batista-Rodriguez, CEO of Baptist Outpatient Services, emphasized that this development signifies more than just the construction of a building; it represents a commitment to advancing healthcare centered around the community. The facility is designed to foster collaboration across specialties, improving coordination of care and enhancing the overall patient experience.
Dr. Jack Ziffer, executive vice president & chief clinical officer of Baptist Health, noted that the rapidly growing communities necessitate expanded healthcare services. This new medical center will allow Baptist Health to extend its reach and provide coordinated, high-quality care to residents in their own neighborhoods.
