AdventHealth Orlando is embarking on a transformative journey with a $1 billion investment aimed at enhancing healthcare services in Central Florida. A centerpiece of this initiative is the construction of a state-of-the-art 12-story medical tower, strategically located adjacent to the main campus near I-4 and Princeton Street.

A Hub of Advanced Care

The new facility, known as the Innovation Tower, will serve as a comprehensive outpatient center, consolidating a wide range of medical services under one roof. It will house specialized departments such as neuroscience, orthopedics, imaging, rehabilitation, and research. Notably, it will become the Florida headquarters for Rothman Orthopaedic Institute, bringing advanced orthopedic care to the region. Additionally, the tower will feature an ambulatory surgery center, enhancing access to surgical services for patients .

Integrating Innovation with Community

The Innovation Tower is a significant addition to AdventHealth’s 172-acre Health Village, which includes AdventHealth Orlando, AdventHealth for Women, and AdventHealth for Children. This expansive campus also encompasses centers for innovation and medical research, as well as residential, retail, dining, and lodging areas, fostering a holistic approach to health and wellness .

Economic and Environmental Impact

Beyond its healthcare offerings, the project is poised to make a substantial economic impact on the region. It is expected to generate numerous construction and medical jobs, contributing to the local economy. Environmentally, the tower is designed with sustainability in mind, incorporating green materials and energy-efficient systems that reduce energy consumption by approximately 28% compared to traditional buildings .
