AdventHealth Building $660M Orlando Hospital
A new hospital planned for Orlando will feature a 14-story tower spanning 595,000 square feet, housing 440 patient beds and 24 operating rooms.
According to the Orlando Business Journal, AdventHealth is investing $660 million in the project’s first phase. This initial stage will include 120 beds, eight operating rooms, and facilities for services such as sterile processing and nutrition.
Construction is expected to begin in mid-2026, with the first phase targeted for completion in early 2030 after a five-year build. The design includes unfinished space that can be developed gradually to meet future demand, potentially adding a floor every few years.
Brasfield & Gorrie has been named the general contractor, while HuntonBrady Architects will handle the architectural design.
AdventHealth’s Central Florida Division currently operates 20 hospitals and ERs across seven counties in the Orlando area, serving over 5.7 million patients annually.
