Baptist Medical Center is seeking a construction permit for a new medical office building at 11851 Stillwood Pines Blvd. in Seven Pines, following a site-clearing permit issued on October 2, with the project estimated to cost $3 million.

The project will involve a two-story, 52,000-square-foot medical office building, with plans for a future two-story, 68,000-square-foot building on a 10.52-acre site.

Brasfield & Gorrie LLC is the contractor, and e4h Environments for Health is the project manager, with civil engineering by England-Thims & Miller Inc.

The land is being sold by the Skinner family within the 1,063-acre Seven Pines development, where Pavilion Health Services purchased it from Sawmill Timber LLC. The site development plan includes a 120,000-square-foot footprint for medical facilities and commercial offices.

The Seven Pines area, named after the seven Skinner brothers, is the last large undeveloped property from the family’s original holdings. The Skinners have owned the land for over a century, primarily for agricultural use.
