AdventHealth Breaks Ground On Port Orange ER
AdventHealth broke ground on their freestanding Port Orange ER on Wednesday with a virtual ceremony in order to abide by coronavirus-related social distancing guidelines.
The 18,400 square-foot facility, located in The Pavilion at Port Orange located at 5811 Williamson Blvd., will have 24 beds, full laboratory and imaging services, a trauma room, bariatric room and two pediatric-friendly rooms. The facility is expected to open in 2021.
“We are pleased to add this ER to our network of care across Central Florida,” said Ed Noseworthy, CEO of AdventHealth Daytona Beach. “The Port Orange area is growing fast, and we want to keep pace with the needs of the community. This ER will give residents an easy, convenient way to access emergency care when they need it most.”
The Port Orange ER will be staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week by a comprehensive clinical team including board-certified emergency physicians and emergency nurses with experience in caring for adults and children.
